SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 1, 2022) – Yamaha Power Pay is one of the premier tournament contingency and rewards programs available to competitive tournament anglers.  Power Pay is a tournament contingency program for anglers who own, and run with, a Yamaha outboard motor on their boat.  At the 2022 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops, the Yamaha Power Pay tournament contingency was paid out to the two highest-placing eligible anglers.

Garrett Warren and Hayden Marbut from 2nd ranked Auburn University were the highest-finishing Yamaha Power Pay team at the 2022 ACA Championship.  Weighing in a two-day total of 33.56 pounds, the two Auburn bass team members finished 9th overall out of the close to 200 boat field.  As the highest-placing Yamaha Power Pay eligible team at the year-end tournament on Pickwick Lake, Warren and Marbut received an additional $2,000.

The second highest-finishing Yamaha Power Pay eligible team at the 2022 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops was the University of Tennessee duo of Parker Kaye and Chad Sentell.  Finishing the event in 14th overall with a total weight of 31.68 pounds, Kaye and Sentell were awarded $1,000 from Yamaha.

To participate in the Yamaha Power Pay Program, an angler must own a Yamaha outboard motor. The Yamaha outboard motor must be purchased within the past 60 months, 115-425 HP. Yamaha outboard motor must be warranty registered in participant’s name and must be used on Program participant’s boat while fishing supported Power Pay tournament events.
