The second points-earning event of the new season was contested on Lake of the Pines in East Texas last weekend. Jacob Andrews & Connor Nimrod from the University of Louisiana-Monroe won the MLF Southeastern Conference event with a single-day total of 26 pounds 5 ounces. Lake of the Pines kicked out a lot of good fish for the regional event last week. Close to 15 teams weighed in limits of 20 pounds or larger. Tune in and listen as we talk with Andrews & Nimrod about their latest victory, and the significance of earning 1,000 points for ULM in the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.
