Heath Pinell and Taylor Knowles from LSU won the first Association of Collegiate Anglers event, the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open, last weekend.  The duo weighed in a two-day total of 24.89 pounds to best the elite field of 216 boats.  First place at the AFTCO Open paid out thousands of dollars in prizes, as well as 1,250 points towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.

Pinell and Knowles join host Kyle Curry on this week’s episode of the Rapala #WeAreCollegiateBass Podcast to talk about their recent victory.  Tune in to hear them break down the baits and locations where they caught their fish, and we will also talk about the importance of this victory towards LSU’s push to win the School of the Year race.
