This past week, the MLF College National Championship was contested on Lake Toho in Florida.  Peyton Harris & Dalton Head from number one ranked University of Montevallo won the event with a three day total weight of 66 pounds 15 ounces.  The duo weighed in over 27 pounds on the final day of competition to secure the victory.  By winning this major collegiate Championship event, Peyton & Dalton earned 2,000 points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.  With Montevallo entering the event ranked number one, this first place victory paired with another Top 10 finish will bolster their place atop the National Rankings.  Tune in to hear about the team’s victory and Montevallo’s goal of winning three-straight School of the Year titles.
