Wire2Fish is looking for an Associate Editor. Wire2Fish is in search of qualified candidates having working knowledge of the following, along with a journalism, communications or marketing degree:
AP Style
Copy Editing
Strong verbal communication skills
SEO
Social Media Best Practices (emphasis on Facebook, IG, YT)
WordPress content management system
Affiliate linking
Solid bass fishing background and knowledge of other species desired
Job duties would include writing data-driven focused articles, shooting still photos, copy editing, creating/updating hyperlinks, loading content on wordpress CMS, writing and editing news stories, communicating with anglers, reps and audience, procuring product, posting to social media, adhering to editorial and social media calendar as well as other duties assigned.
Relocation not required. This is a remote position.
